Overlooking Hickory Nut Gorge, and just a mile away from the southeastern shore of beautiful Lake Lure, in North Carolina, you'll find Cabin on SilverTree Ridge! If you've been searching for log cabins, search no further... guests call it "A little slice of heaven" and "Mountaintop Perfection." We think you'll agree! This beautiful log cabin, built in 1997, features the rustic charm of life in simpler times, yet also provides modern conveniences such as satellite television, a full kitchen, gameroom, multi-level deck and outdoor grill, and much more!  
 
You'll leave your everyday worries behind as you drive up a short, private, winding mountain road to the top of SilverTree Ridge. You'll immediately notice the peace and quiet surrounding you and the privacy of the 3.2 acre lot. You'll delight in the wrap-around, multi-level, covered deck which will afford for pleasant evening barbeques and year-round views of Hickory Nut Gorge.  
 
Stepping inside, you'll find a beatifully appointed great room with chalet windows, comfortable furnishings and 27" television with DVD player, movie library, and satellite programming. An easy-to-use gas fireplace and classic river rock hearth will make for cozy, romantic nights with a special someone. A gliding rocker, complete dining room, and kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee-maker, and glass-top stove) all await you on this level. Everything you need to relax and unwind are here, from silverware to linens. Also included is free high-speed wireless internet access. Log cabins of the past were quaint, but... modern log cabins are much more comfortable. :)  
In the loft bedroom you'll enjoy sleeping on a custom log frame bed, hand-crafted by local artisans. You'll awake to a beautiful view out the chalet windows. You may find yourself wishing that waking up could always be this nice! Both bedrooms feature a full bathroom. Best of all, head down to the lower level for a complete game room featuring a beautiful cedar log bar, competition-grade foosball table, and electronic darts! A fold-out futon on this level provides private sleeping accomodations for two more guests.
