This studio apartment is newly furnished with a mini-kitchen, queen-sized bed, sofa, screened porch, and a private entrance in a resort setting that offers many recreational amenities. Sapphire Valley Resort has an activities center with two outdoor and one indoor swimming pools. It also has a beautiful lake for swimming, sailing and canoeing. Boats are available for hire. The resort also offers organized trips and activities, such as white water rafting on the Nantahala River or a visit to the Vanderbilt mansion in Asheville. The town of Cashiers has many shops and restaurants for fine dining. The resort also offers golf, tennis, a fitness center, miniature golf, and hiking.
