Vacation Rental Description
Johnsons Little Slice of Heaven is a river cabin home, located 15 minutes from Burnsville NC and 40 minutes from downtown Asheville. The cabin is a two-two, with a large loft and can accommodate up to 10 people. Enjoy all the comforts of home including a full kitchen, laundry room, pub style bar w/ billiard table and dart board, DVD player w/ surround sound, and a kids video game area, additionally there is a hot tub and satellite TV.  
 
There is plenty to do at the cabin, enjoy lazy afternoons fishing or just floating the river to the private beach & swimming hole. Don't worry if you don't want to get wet, there are plenty of trails for hiking, you can cross the swinging bridge, or hike to one of the nearby waterfalls.  
 
The Cabin is close to several local attractions as well, including Mt Mitchell National park (the highest elevation on the eastern seaboard), Gem mining, horseback ridding, and white water rafting, and skiing in the winter, with four resorts from 30 minute to an hour away. Don't forget Asheville, known for its eclectic atmosphere, with fine dining, shopping, and of course The Biltmore Mansion.  
 
What a mountain vacation is all about!  
Just listen to the sounds of the mountains and the river from the front porch, sit back, and relax! No matter what you decide to do just remember, its easy to forget about the rest of the world here. Just listen from the front porch for the sound of the train to bring you back to reality .

    There is typically no cleaning chage it is built into the rental amount, however there is an additional cleaning fee for parties of 6 or more is $100. We do allow pets, however there is an additional non refundable pet fee of $100. We require a standard security deposit of $250 that is refundable 72 hours after check out. In the event of a cancelation we need a minium of two weeks notice. We typically use paypal for secure transactions, however we will also except cash and checks if mailed in advance.
