Accommodations: Cabin, 4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed, 3 Baths (Sleeps 8-10 comfortably)  
 
AMENITIES: Beautiful mountain views, wrap-around covered decks with rocking chairs, outdoor gas grille, 6-8 person Hot Tub, pool table and foosball table, wood-bruning fireplace with starter firewood provided, TVs in every bedrooms and a 61" in the great room, satellite TV, DVDs and VCRs, 35 video library, X-BOX with 10 games, internet, PC and WIFI and local-calling phone and two bedrooms on the main floor (handicap accessible with only one step onto main floor living). And finally, breathe in all the Blue Ridge Mountain clean air you like (we will make more!) 
 
Come stay in our High Country Hide-Away. This exceptional 2004 built log cabin has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, an entertainment/game room and is located on Crystal Mountain, a quiet gated community, conveniently located 6-7 miles from Blowing Rock and Boone in beautiful and centrally located Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store). At an elevation of nearly 4000 feet the temperature rarely get's above 80 degrees, so come beat the heat in style! There are two bedrooms located on the main floor (1-Q & 2-twins), a K in the master upstairs and a Q and a convertible pull-out located in the bottom floor. There is also only one step into the home from the driveway, this getaway is elderly friendly. The cabin is also smoke free and pet free. 
 
Ski areas include Appalachian Ski Mtn, Hawkesnest, Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain. Linville Falls and Caverns and all other High Country attractions are short rides away. Whether you want a weekend getaway for an Appalachian State Mountaineer ASU Football game or an extended stay, tranquility and/or excitement can be found here at High Country Hide-Away. Other nearby amenities include Boone Golf Course, which is open to the public, numerous hiking trails, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and Banner Elk.
