Vacation Rental Description
You will feel like you've entered a king's mountain paradise as you encounter the luxuries with which this multi-million dollar mountain estate surrounds you. The Main House has six private bedrooms sleeping 14 and the Guest House sleeps an additional 4, capable of sleeping 16-18 comfortably between the two homes. With 7-private bedrooms and over 6,000 heated sq ft, this is the largest and most popular vacation rental in the Boone and Blowing Rock area.
As soon as you step passed the awning-covered mahogony pergola and enter through the main 10-foot high mahogany and glass entrance, you will be awestruck by the magnificence of this home's interior. The vestibule features dual grand staircases leading up to a 35-foot high coffered ceiling and skylight atrium and interior balconies! Throughout the house you'll discover beautiful handcarved woodwork, exquisite tilework, 3 fireplaces, an indoor fountain, a climate control system with 9 separate heating zones, 10-foot ceilings, jetted tub, rain showers and many other architectural and custom features... that keep renters returning year after year!
You will find 2-King beds, 3 Queen beds, 1-Double and 1-pullout couch in the main house as well as 2-singles and a private Queen in the Guest House. In total, 7-private bedrooms and 5-full baths, a home capable of sleeping 18!
On the west side of the foyer is a large, basics-equipped, gourmet kitchen with Subzero Refrigerator/freezer, Miele dishwasher, and 5 Star 48" commercial stove/oven/grill, and with single slab granite countertops, solid cherry cabinets, and a breakfast nook (breakfast eating usually for 8-10) surrounded by 16 windows and a glass door leading to the covered pergola with gas grill.
Also included on the property are a level grassed-in yard, a stone walking path around the main house and several acres of mountain terrain with stone formations, a stream and trails to explore.
Located in a private, gated development off the Blue Ridge Parkway just 15 minutes north of downtown Blowing Rock, the nation's oldest resort town, and 15 minutes east of downtown Boone, home to Appalacian State University (ASU), you will be close to the best in shopping and dining as well as only 15 minutes from Tweetsie Railroad, 30 minutes to Grandfather Mountain, just 20 to 45 minutes to all 4 major ski resorts in the area, and close to all other High Country attractions.
But of course, with 6,000 square feet of living space and all the luxurious features inside the house, as well as the gorgeous natural features of the land and spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, you may decide never to leave A Balance With Nature!
*** ADDITIONAL GUEST HOUSE - ONLY $75 PER NIGHT ***
