Vacation Rental Description
English owned 2008 built log cabin in Fleetwood, North Carolina. We named it "Endless View" as it has spectacular long-range mountain vistas toward North Carolina, Tennessee & Virginia, which you can enjoy from the rocking chairs on the two covered decks.
The three levels give space for families and friends. Within hours of arriving, you will feel relaxed and at one with the beautiful surrounds both inside and out. In the summer enjoy the wonderful warm evenings barbecueing on the balcony, in the fall enjoy the beautiful foliage that is everywhere, and in the winter enjoy the warmth and intimacy of the cabin's gas log fire.
The cabin is located one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 15 minutes from Boone and Jefferson and 20 minutes from the quaint American village of Blowing Rock which offers many unique mountain festivals and attractions. A comfortable 2 hour drive from Charlotte Airport, the cabin is off Highway 221, equidistant from Boone and Jefferson, both 15 minutes drive.
Whatever activity adventures you decide on, be it whitewater rafting, hiking, wildlife viewing, cycling, kayaking, tubing down a cool mountain river, or enjoying a driving tour through the Blue Ridge Mountains, the best part is returning to the cabin in the evening. The country décor, wood interior, extensive windows/glass, covered decks and stone fireplace set the ambiance for an intimate evening watching the beautiful sunsets over the mountain ranges. Realaxed from the many daytime ativities, you will unwind in your own private cabin overlooking the mountains. You will delight in the peace, solitude, and beauty of our mountain retreat.
The cabin has 2 Bedrooms plus a family room/bedroom situated on three levels each with it's own bathroom giving accommodation for 8. The main level has a barbecue and covered deck.
The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and a beautifully furnished lounge with a gas fireplace made of stone, and a 42" TV, with full length windows and sliding doors on either side allowing for spectacular views of the mountain ranges to the West. There is also a queen bedroom with large windows on two sides of the room, and a bathroom.
On the upper level there is a bedroom with a queen bed, en suite bathroom and a loft area for reading and privacy. The sofa in this area converts into two day beds.
On the lower level, the family/bedroom/den has TV & games including a fuzball table, ideal for the kids to escape. A third bathroom and laundry room are also situated here, and you have direct access to a second covered deck and spectacular views.
