Vacation Rental Description
We are members of the local country club, and guests may use the facilities for a fee - The club is approx. 1 mile from our chalet and has a large swimming pool, a beautiful golf course, tennis courts, dining room and 19th hole pub, all of which are available from May to Oct. The ski slopes are nearby - approx. 1/2 mile. Our chalet is fully furnished - linens, firewood, pots & pans, dishes, dishwasher, washer and dryer, etc. Please check out our website in order to see all our amenities - www.abitofheavenchalet.com. In the event it is a family wishing to rent with small children, we have 2 large bedrooms that can accommodate a couple of children in sleeping bags (you furnish). We do allow up to 11 if it is a family with small children. We are in the woods, and it is always very comfortable all summer - we do have ceiling fans for the rare hot day.

    • Tweetsie RR is a childrens theme park - approx. 1/2 hour away. There is white water rafting available - buses take you to and from the white water areas. There a many hiking trails right on Beech Mtn. There is a Buckeye Recreation Center where there is a gymnasium, tennis (indoor), fitness area kids playroom, indoor walking tract for year round use. (This is about a mile from our chalet).

    I require a $150 refundable security deposit in order to book your dates. This is sent back to you after the cleaning lady has been there and found everything to be satisfactory. The total rent is due 4 weeks in advance of your stay (if you have booked early enough to do this). I only accept personal checks, money orders, or a bank check. No credit cards as I only have the one property.
