Vacation Rental Description
Peace, relaxation, rejuvenation, you'll find it all here. Opened in late 2008, this Resort offers privately owned condominiums which are luxurious, contemporary and affordable. Accommodations are surrounded by 7 acres of landscaped grounds, dotted with Adirondack chairs for reading and relaxing, and charcoal BBQ grills for al fresco suppers overlooking the private beach on Long Island Sound.
Amenities include the best outdoor heated freshwater swimming pool on the North Fork, open from late May to early September, attended by a lifeguard. Enjoy stunning views over the private beach across Long Island Sound, towards Connecticut, with the most spectacular sunsets. A direct waterfront location, the Cliffside Resort is situated within easy reach of the thriving and historic Village of Greenport, in the heart of Long Island Wine Country. Enjoy lazy days at the pool, and fresh farm produce, prepared in your excellent kitchenette, complete with dishwasher, hob, wine cooler and fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, glasses, cutlery and the all important corkscrew. Pick delicious fruit and vegetables from the farmstands, taste locally grown world class wines and catch some seafood. Enjoy outdoor dining on your covered terrace overlooking the pool, or take a picnic to the private beach, watch a movie on the LCD TV, or bring your notebook and catch up with email using unlimited high speed Wifi throughout the resort.
A spacious master suite offers Queen size bed with upgraded linens, and down duvet for cooler seasons. A full ensuite bathroom is attached to the master, with shower over bath, basin and lavatory. The second bedroom has two single beds, and close by a second bathroom with cubicle shower, basin and lavatory. Open plan living, dining room and kitchenette leads onto the outdoor terrace and there's a back door to the unit to give easy access to the communal pool. The pool is open from around 8am to 8pm daily, which affords the poolside units the best of both worlds. Ease of access during the day and a tranquil setting for private suppers on the terrace.
This is a corner unit, with light spilling into the rooms, and bordered by a wood on the edge of the resort, with peek-a-boo views of evening glistening Long Island Sound.

There are now some 40 wineries and vineyards on the North Fork of Long island, New York. Long Island Wine Country serves world class wines, with too-numerous-to-mention events running throughout the year from Jazz on the Vine in February, to spectacular Christmas Decorations at the end of the year. There's tax free Outlet Shopping Centre in Riverhead, within 30 minutes drive, Art galleries, 6th largest US Water park, Antique stores, numerous farm stands to "pick your own" from strawberries, to peaches, apples and pumpkins. Corn mazes in the Fall, lighthouses to explore, charter fishing and sailing boats, and in Greenport, a nearby fishing port only 2 miles away, a few lively bars and excellent restaurants. Yet a quite stroll along the beach and in the nature parks teaming with birdlife is never far away. It is the most beautiful place to be, natural, unspoiled, eco-tourism friendly, historic and with many serene and quiet corners.Bliss.
