Hiking, swimming, tennis, cycling, fishing, kayaking and wind-surfing are activities available in nearby areas. Ocean beaches are a short ride away where you can bask in the sun and enjoy the pristine eastern Long Island beaches. Numerous antique stores, shops and vineyards for those who prefer exploring the "east end" of Long Island. With a car you can take advantage of locally grown produce, fresh seafood and local cheese and wine at many area markets, roadside stands and vineyards. Take a ride to Montauk to watch the fishing boats dock and bring in their fresh catch (tuna, swordfish, monkfish, blowfish, scallops, and much more). We are near the towns of Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Amagansett and Montauk and you can take a ferry to Shelter Island, the north fork of Long Island and Block Island, which is off Montauk Point.
