2 bedroom cottage in Upstate NY 90 miles north of NYC, idyllic lakeside setting at base of mountain, kayaks, canoe, sailboat, Our charming guest cottage is located in the Hudson Valley, on our 11 acre lakeside property at the base of Stissing Mountain. We use the main house most weekends and all summer. The guest cottage is separate and is located at the beginning of the driveway, away from the main house (please see photos). It has antique furnishings, hardwood floors, new appliances, 2 baths (one with clawfoot tub). One bedroom has a double antique spindle pine bed, the other bedroom has double bed and single bed. Living room has sleep sofa. We have 3 kayaks, a canoe, sailboat, fishing rods, swimming platform, dock, 5 adult bikes, 5 children's bikes, wonderful swing set, vegetable garden, flower garden. We love families with children.

    • Cottage is located on Stissing Lake at base of Stissing Mountain next store to Thompson Pond nature preserve. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing and bicycling included with rental. Skiing available at Catamount 20 mins away. Heart of the Hudson Valley, located between Rhinebeck and Millbrook, 20 mins to Culinary Institute of America, Antiques, White water rafting, Horseback riding all close by.
