This completely renovated 1930's boathouse sits only steps away from the water in a wooded setting.
The boathouse has one bedroom with queen-sized bed, one full bath and full sized washer and dryer. A new flat screen TV with satelite reception has a built-in DVD player and comes with a collection of DVDs. The house has a porch running the length of the house, complete with a BBQ grill. It has a new dock just steps away. There is a freestanding fire pit next to the porch. Indoors, heat is provided by a remote controlled gas fireplace. Well water is provided, complete with a uv filter for clean, great tasting water. The brand new kitchen is fully stocked with a new fridge, new gas stove, microwave, electric coffeepot, coffee press, cooking utensils, flatware, dishes, servingware and glasses. Towels, sheets, blankets and pillows are also included.
There is a private dock on site and fishing equipment is available on request. Boats of all kinds are available for rental nearby.

Activities
The house is set on about 20 acres of woods complete with brook, small waterfall and loads of wildlife (no hunting). There is superb fishing on Owasco Lake.
The boathouse is located just minutes from Ithaca, NY, home to Cornell University and Ithaca College as well as many wonderful restaurants and shops, the Sciencenter and the famous Ithaca Farmer's Market.
Also minutes away are the wineries on the Eastern shore of Cayuga Lake and the beautiful college town of Aurora, home to Wells College, several outstanding restaurants and the world famous MacKenzie-Childs, with its tours and shops.
A 20-25 minute drive North takes you to Auburn and Skaneateles, with their restaurants and shops. At the head of the lake is the Merry-Go-Round Theatre, which has performances of well-known broadway musicals all Summer.
The Cayuga and Seneca Wine Trails are 20 minutes to one hour away.
