This 1600 square foot home sits on a prime lot on the east side of the lake. It is a true getaway for all to do in the Finger Lakes Region from wineries to casinos to some of the best fishing in the area. Bask in the quiet beauty and enjoy over 230 feet of lakefront footage on lovely Canandaigua Lake, a beautiful historical town tucked away in Upstate New York.
A wood stove set against an exposed brick fireplace is the centerpiece of a large ,comfortable open plan family room. A piano and comfy seating for 4 as well as a traditional oak dining table with seating for 6 offers the charm and atmosphere for a great social area.
The separate living room has panoramic windows of the lake with a couch and 3 chairs and modern luxuries of TV, cable DVD and stereo. The Town of Canandaigua offers a WIFI service from several locations a mile up the road.
The well equipped Kitchen has a window overlooking the lake with a stove, an oven, refrigerator, a microwave oven, coffee maker, dishwasher and washer dryer. The home also has electric heating for the chilly nights in the early summer and fall.
There are 3 bright comfortable bedrooms all situated on one level to provide a perfect location for the elderly, young or people with limited mobility.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and an ensuite master bathroom with tub and shower.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a single bed .
Bedroom 3 is bright with windows overlooking the lake and has two single beds.
All bedrooms are tastefully decorated with traditional quilted coverlets.
The home also boasts an additional full family bathroom with tub and shower.
For outside enjoyment you will find garden seating, a picnic table, fire pit, and plenty of lawn space for the family to play badminton, soccer and horseshoes. There is also a charcoal grill available for your use.
The cottage has 230ft of level shallow shelving lakefront where the water quality is excellent and a permanent 30ft long dock shared with the North cottage.
The water at the end of the dock is 4ft deep so perfect for swimming and fishing for lake bass and trout.
There is also a mooring buoy available should you bring your own boat or rent one from a nearby Marina. The public boat launch is 5 miles away.
The South cottage can be rented on its own or together with its sister cottage for larger groups or reunions. However it is privately set aside for your own enjoyment.
Located on a private lane just a couple of miles down the East side of Lake Canandaigua you are only a few minutes from all the activities, shopping and restaurants in the town
