The Train Station in Tannersville NY is nestled on 1.5 acres just off State Route 23A (Main Street) and conveniently located within minutes of the alpine ski areas of Hunter Mountain & Windham Mountain. The Chalet is just a short ride to numerous State Hiking trails, Scenic Water Falls and North & South Lake. Golfing, Swimming, Horseback Riding and numerous recreational activities are all within minutes of us. During Autumn, see the colorful canopy of the mountains splendid foliage, or take a trip to nearby Woodstock, the antique center of Saugerties and weekend country auctions.  
In July & August, Hunter Mountain is host to the German Alps “Octoberfest” as well as country music, Celtic, Italian, Polka and Mountain Eagle Indian Festivals. The Train House offers area visitors a great place to stay for Skiing, Parties, Bar Mitzvahs, Corporate Parties, Etc. Just 5 minutes from the Hunter Mountain Ski Resort, 15 minutes from The Windham Mountain Ski Bowl and hundreds of miles of trails throughout the Catskills National Forest. We are within walking distance to the theatre, library, restaurants, churches, synagogue, Kosher Store, post office and local shopping.
