Vacation Rental Description
Build an unforgettable memory here! Take a boat ride in the morning; drive to the track in the afternoon; at dusk, enjoy the sun setting over the lake. After dark, pour yourself a glass of wine and relax next to the outdoor fireplace, your options are endless. With 50' of private beach and 40' of boat docking space your choices of activities are endless. If you like water sports, you can swim, boat, fish, sail or water-ski ; if not you can enjoy the flowers in the garden and the awesome sunsets. Bring the family to the lake and plan on having a vacation you'll always remember. The views from the attached decks are fantastic. The waterfront is just 125' from the cottage. The only things you need to bring are the groceries and your clothes - all the cooking utensils, the outdoor grill, lawn furniture are provided. Inside the tastefully decorated 4 year old cottage you'll find a fridge, microwave, 4 burner gas stove and oven, washer & dryer as well as 4 TVs. Its waiting just for you! Canoe;row boat; sail boat, outdoor furniture; water slide; boat dock; 50' beach frontage are provided, pets will be considered on a case by case basis $ 100.00 per pet if allowed. Under no circumstances are your visitors and or quests allowed to bring their pets, pitch tents, or set up travel trailers or motor homes . Maximum number of overnight quests/visitors not to exceed 8. Sleeping in vehicles by visitors/quests is stictly prohibited. If you plan on entertaining freinds a list of names and dates must be submitted prior to arrival. Prior approval is required - no exceptions.
The cottage is located 12 miles North of the city of Amsterdam, Exit 27 off the New York State Thruway. At exit 27 take right turn onto route 30 and go north approx. 9 miles , when you get to the intersection of Route 30 & 29 take a right turn onto Route 29 heading East until you come to the 1st traffic light (1mile) at the light, turn left onto Second Ave.,proceed until you come to the (4) four corner intersection, turn right on to Main St.(your are now in Broadalbin N.Y.), follow Main bearing left and then, right until it becomes North St., stay on it until you come to the Y intersection, take a left onto Lakeview Rd., Go seven tenths of a mile (just past the entrance to the Sacandaga Bible Conference) take a left turn onto McMurray Rd., go until you see the red gate, turn right at it and go until your in front of the cottage, (its the last cottage on your left.) You have arrived, Enjoy !!!! McMurray's has a boat launch, 1200' wallking distance to the cottage
Upon arrival, maps, restaurant locations, local activity guides and special events programs (Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Race track schedules) will be provided. If you are interested in specific or special events, please do not hesitate to call, I'll see if I can assist you.

Peak $1500 weekly June 20th thru September 5th. $750.00 required to confirm your reservation, an additional $500 due with signed contract & drivers license , balance is due 3 weeks prior to your arrival date. A separate check for $1500 'Security Deposit' (refundable) is required 3 weeks prior to your arrival. Guests must have all payments cleared prior to arrival. Deposit will be returned 2 weeks after checkout providing there is no damage or anything missing. CHECK-IN 2pm, CHECK =OUT 9 am SHARP. All rentals are from Sat. to Sat. except during the Off-Season Off-Season Rates: $650/week SPRING, FALL with full payment required at booking. A $1500. security deposit (refundable) is due three (3) weeks prior to arrival along with a copy of your driver's license. Special Rate: MEMORIAL WEEKEND, a four night stay, check - in Fri. only $850....... For Off-Season 'ONLY' payment is due in full at time of booking. Pet Surcharge $100. per pet.
