Adirondack ambiance surrounds you in our newly renovated and comfortably appointed rooms, kitchenettes, suites and lakefront cottages. All of our accommodations have full bath/shower, cable TV, self-control heat or air-conditioning, telephone with free local calls, and FREE WiFi. Our Inn is a glorious year-round destination offering canoes, picnic tables, outdoor pool, and Adirondack chairs for lounging by the Lake. Lakeside accommodations have magnifient views of the Lake and Whiteface Mountain. Placid Bay Inn is family owned and operated for 30 years, and are proud of the service and cleanliness we offer. We look forward to helping people enjoy the beauty of the Adirondack Park, and all there is to do and see. There are over 46 mountain peaks to climb, 100's of streams, rivers and lakes to paddle or fish, museums, World Cup events, including ski jumping in Winter and Summer, Bobsled rides, music in the parks, festivals, and many other fun-filled opportunities!     We require half down, or one night, whichever is greater, at time of reservation. Cancelation is 14 days prior for rooms, and 30 days prior for cottages. We accept Master, Visa, American Express, Discover card, travelers checks and cash. Please note that if you are paying in cash or travelers checks that we require a credit card number for security. During special events or for large groups the cnacelation policy is 60 days prior to arrival.
