Vacation Rental Description
This roomy Jersey Shore home is located just 3 houses in from the beach, about 30 yards from the sand. It is in the charming town of Bay Head NJ which has one of the best bakeries in New Jersey. There is a large screened in side porch, a yard where we play Bocce, an outdoor shower for when you come off the beach, a gas grill for outdoor grilling. It's a great place for family fun. The Point Pleasant boardwalk is only one mile to the north where there is lots of entertainment for the entire family including a great fireworks display every Thursday night during the summer season. Historic Asbury Park is only a few miles to the north. There are numerous restaurants, night clubs & bars in the area. The Grenville Hotel (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is just down the street. You can walk there! One of our favorite activities is to walk, jog or bike down East Avenue in the the beautiful summer morning or evening. Bay Head is the last stop on the railroad from New York City, so it is possible to commute from the city to our home in Bay Head...the station is less than a mile from the house. The main rental period is for 31 days in July, however it could be shifted to the last week or so of June and on into July if needed. It is not available in August or early September but could be rented at other times during the year. Please inquire to see if the dates you desire are available. Six summer beach badges are included with the rental. What a great place to get away in the summer!!!!

    • We often eat meals on the large screened in side porch. It's also a wonderful place to entertain or spend the evening sitting around talking, or for having coffee and reading the paper in the morning as the sun comes up . Next to the porch is a yard where we like to play Bocce. At the end of the yard there is a large organic garden. You are welcome to enjoy some of whatever is in season during your stay, please leave some for us.....We have enjoyed many many summers at this great traditional Bay Head house. There's no better place to be in the summer!!!

    off season rates run about $3,000 per week depending on the dates and length of stay.... off-season weekend rates vary according to the time of year. No rentals are available from August 1st through September 15th. A deposit for the one month rental is $9,000 dollars, required at the time of signing of contract. We accept cash or check. We must have 2 months cancellation notice, otherwise the deposit will not be returned unless we are able to find a suitable substitute renter.
