Main Description
This is a beautiful large 2 b/r apartment which was formerly an in-law apartment, connected to main house. The owners are rarely around as husband works down in MA and wife works during the day. Located up the Ferry Rd. about a half-mile from the beach. It would take about 10 minutes to walk to the beaches, either the Camp Ellis Beach (closer) or the Ferry Beach. You could also bike down or drive your car and park at the docks in Camp Ellis & walk to the beach from there. The owner will have a parking pass to park in Camp Ellis if you don't want to walk. I require a $20 deposit for the pass in a separate check. When you leave the pass on the table upon checkout, I will void the check & mail it back to you.

The home has two separate entrances. The one in the rear has a handicap ramp if needed, plenty of parking. Nice deck on rear with a new gas BBQ grille & patio set. Home has a large shower with handicap bars, microwave, cable TV, new sink, new stove, new microwave & new dishwasher. Also has a washer/dryer in the large bathroom area. It has an open-concept living room & kitchen/dining area with a large living room. There are two good-sized bedrooms. BED SETUP: Master has a queen-size bed & 2nd b/r has a full + a set of bunks (twin mattresses). There is also a roll-away cot (twin sheets) & a blow-up mattress. Sleeps 6 in beds (more with cot & mattress) $1,000/wk. Pets are possible on a “case by case” basis. Extra $70 charge if bringing a dog.

Saco & Old Orchard are half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping; 20 minutes to South Portland to a major mall and 20 minutes to Portland. We’re about 1-1/2 hours or so from the Boston area. Several golf courses nearby.

The Old Orchard Beach/Saco exit is Exit 36 mile marker once you're on the Maine Turnpike (I-95). Saco & Old Orchard are about 30 or so minutes north of Wells & Kennebunk areas. Ocean Park (is part of Old Orchard) & Pine Point (Scarborough-is about 1-1/2 miles north of Old Orchard). Both are also similar areas - both are very popular areas and definitely family oriented as are the beach areas in Saco. There's a petting zoo in York, also about 40 minutes south of here and a smaller petting farm in Scarborough, about 30 minutes from Saco.

Deep sea fishing & whale watching boats go out of Camp Ellis.

Rates

Low Season Price : $500
High Season Price : $1000 per Week
Half of rental + tax is required to hold a cottage. All balances are due one month prior to check-in. Must be in U.S. dollars by either a personal check or money order. I do not use credit cards.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If one has to cancel, deposits will only be refunded if the week that was reserved is re-rented at the same rate. If rerented at a lower rate (due to a late cancellation), refunds will be adjusted accordingly, reduced by whatever reduction was necessary to re-rent the house. All money will be returned once I have confirmation of the re-rent and received deposit or if it is actually re-rented at the last minute. If cancelled within 3 weeks of check-in and it cannot be re-rented, no refunds. If re-rented with no price reductions, all monies will be returned

Rental of unit sight unseen must be accepted upon arrival or all money is forfeited (this is written in the rental contracts
