Vacation Rental Description
The Cobb Hill Guest Cabin is located close to blue ribbon fly fishing, world class skiing at Big Sky, Moonlight Basin and Bridger, home of Cold Smoke. Within 1/2 mile of the historic and newly re-modeled Bozeman Hot Spring, a natural hot springs and spa facility, and within 1/2 mile of restaurants, this location offers privacy as well as the convenience of being only 15 minutes away from the historic downtown district of Bozeman. There are four mountain ranges that surround the Gallatin Valley, where the cabin is located, and it is located on the western
edge of town so that it is very easy to get to Yellowstone National Park to enjoy the hydrothermal activity as well as the abundant wildlife. The Gallatin, Madison, Jefferson and Missouri Rivers are within a short drive, as is Headwaters State Park, where Lewis and Clark camped along their journey.
The Guest Cabin is on an 1914 homestead, where some of the original buildings still remain. The cabin is in a lovely location for walking and birdwatching. Designed to accomodate family outings, the generous front greenspace is often used for outdoor activities, including fly casting practice, recreational games, and a firepit
is on the cabin site and often used by guests for campfires.
Bozeman is generally known for great summer weather. Most summers are dry and are warm in the day, and then cool down at night, weather which makes for wonderful sleeping.
The cabin is so well situated, and cost-effective, that often guests will make 2 or 3 day journeys to other parts
of Montana while staying at the cabin.
Inside the cabin you will find very comfortable accomodations, and beds that seem to draw comments from many of theguests as they are extremely comfortable. Wireless internet, satellite tv, and a collection of dvd's and great local books are found inside, as well as laundry facilities.

You may want to end your day doing any of these activities by going to the Historic Bozeman Hot Springs, where you can soak and relax in the natural hot springs.

We are 90 minutes from Yellowstone Park, and within 15 - 30 minutes of the Gallatin, Madison and Missouri Rivers, where you will be able to experience world-class fly fishing. Winter vistors who are looking to ski are an easy distance to Big Sky, Moonlight, and Bridger, home of Cold Smoke! Located on an historic homestead, but newly remodeled, the cabin has great views to the Brigers and to the Spanish Peaks, and has a large deck to entertain and enjoy family and friends. Both a gas and standard BBQ are located on the deck. A firepit is located on the cabin grounds as well.
A toy cottage full of toys and games, perfect for children 2-8, is located right nearby the cabin, for those guests with children, or grandchildren they are visiting in the area.
