3 Bedroom Cabin in Aitkin

We have 9 self-housekeeping cabins located on Spirit Lake near Aitkin, MN. Each of the cabins is close to the lake with fabulous lakefront views. Full kitchens with range, microwave, coffeepot, toaster, refrigerators and pots, pans and dishes. We provide the bed linens, but you will need to bring your own bath and dish towels. The cabins range in size from 3 person to 9 person size. We are a classic fishing resort on a clean, crystal clear lake with good fishing for Large mouth bass, Northern, Crappie, Walleye and Sunfish. Aproximately 1 1/4 miles long and 3/4 mile wide encompassing about 560 acres, with several deep holes and an average depth of 20 feet. We are located in a quiet, secluded spot with beautiful birch and pine trees for shaded beauty and a cool retreat. Each of our cabins has picnic table and grill. There are 2 famiy fire pits with wood provided for campfire fun. A boat is available at no extra charge for each cabin, and there are motors and a 20' pontoon for rental. The swimming area is sandy with gradual depth making it a great spot for younger members of the family. 
 
Cabin 1 is the orginal log cabin on the property, with a screened in front porch and large family room. Downstairs has a queen bed, single and crib, and there is an upstairs loft with 3 double beds. Fireplace for cozy evenings. 
 
Cabin 2 is a two bedroom cabin finished in knotty pine. It has a double bed and a set of bunkbeds, plus a hide-a-bed. 4 persons. 
 
Cabin 3 is a one bedroom with a queen bed, single bed and a hide-a-bed in the large, recently remodeled living area with pine paneling. A bright, cheery cabin for a week or weekend retreat. 3 persons. 
 
Cabin 4 is a three bedroom "classic" cabin finished in knotty pine, with an open beam ceiling. 3 double beds, one with a single bunk above. 6 persons. 
 
Cabin 5 is a two bedroom with 2 double beds. 4 persons. 
 
Cabin 6 is a three bedroom with 3 double beds. Cedar paneling open beam ceiling, large living-kitchen area. 6 persons. Close to beach. 
 
Cabin 7 is a nice three bedroom cabin with large living/kitchen area, 3 double beds. 6 persons. 
 
Cabin 8 is a pine paneled, three bedroom cabin with 2 double beds and a set of bunkbeds. Next to campfire. 6 persons. 
 
Cabin 9 is a new log cabin with extra large living and dining area. Nice kitchen. One bedroom downstairs with queen bed, and loft upstairs with double and single beds. Front deck for early morning coffee and evening sunsets. 5 persons. 
 
All of our cabins are non-smoking. A "fish cleaning house" is provided for our guests to clean their catches. There is a play ground with swings, slides, sandbox and climbers for young children. A basketball hoop and volleyball net/court are provided. We have waterbikes and kiyaks and a pedal boat for our guests to enjoy.

"This Old Farm/Paul Bunyan Land" is about 15 miles away, and has rides and activities for the kids. Several restaurants close by- good basic food. Great fishing and boating on the crytal clear, spring fed lake.
