Enjoy spectacular sunrises over Big Chetac or relax on the huge deck with built-in fire pit and gazebo and enjoy the sunset over the smaller lake behind house. The view is incredible! The master bedroom has its own private deck with views of both lakes. The lot is 2.9 acres and is heavily wooded. There is tons of room to explore in the adjacent county land. Fish Big Chetac or fish the small lake behind the house for a very private experience. Even in the winter you do not see any neighbors.
The home is being remodeled for this summer season. I will update the pictures soon. I have put tongue and groove siding in the living room and one of the bedrooms. New carpet is being installed and a hard wood floor is being put in the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is being remodled and a dishwasher is being added as well. The bathrooms are being remodled with tiled shower walls and bath walls.
The fishing is great and it is a great lake for recreation with over 2,000 acres of "boatable" water to explore. There is a sand bar on the lake to enjoy and a couple of islands to explore and potentially camp on. There are also some great places to camp in the wooded back yard. This is a great place to come any time of year with nearby attraction in Birchwood, Hayward, Spooner, and Rice Lake. Very secluded and spacious! Come and enjoy this great north woods get away!
