You can have it all, AND be only 1 hr. from downtown Minneapolis (depending on traffic)
800 square feet, knotty pine walls and great lake front views.
We are 75 feet from the water, on a level lot.
On site parking.
2 bedrooms, 1 bath room. Kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware, silverware and cookware.
This is a summer cottage.
There is no dishwasher.
We have a wall furnace to warm the cottage on cool days.
The cottage is not air conditioned, but we do have plenty of fans.
You enjoy the "up north, lake cottage experience", AND you are only 1 hour from downtown Minneapolis!
The beds are in great condition!
Queen size bed in front bedroom, which looks out to the lake.
Twin bunk beds in back bedroom, can be taken down placed side by side if somone does not want to be in the top bunk.
Futon in the front room and sleeper sofa in the living room, both are double/full beds.
3/4 bath has a stand up shower.
Lounge in the hammock and sip a cold drink while your children play in the warm shallow water.
Roast marshmallows in the lake side fire pit, and gaze at the stars, maybe see the moon rise across the lake.
Watch bald eagles soar. Fish from the dock or a boat-your choice.
Our lake shore swimming area is sandy bottom, no muck, no rocks. Gradual sloping lake bottom.
Swim out 150 feet and stand in 5-6 feet of water.
Green Lake in Isanti County is 800 acres, but not very busy with skiers and jet skis. However there are usually fishermen stalking walleye, northern pike, crappie, sunfish & large mouth bass.
There are many loons on the lake. The common loon is the official Minnesota state bird.
When you exhaust the outdoor activities, relax in the cabin and gaze at the lake, read or watch tv or a movie on the VCR/DVD player, Listen to some music on stereo radio/CD player.
Linens and towels are provided.
Golf at Princeton Golf Club or Purple Hawk in Cambridge.
Both towns have 24 hour grocery stores.
Grand Casino is 30-40 minutes away.
Mall of America and MSP Airport are 90 minutes away.
