Authentic log cabin built in 1930 is nestled in 75+ acres of the Huron National Forest with all the amenities of home. This year-round 2 bedroom log cabin is approximately 1200 square feet, fully furnished complete with cozy stone fireplace in the 20' long living room. (Wood for the fireplace is furnished)

If you are looking for a romantic getaway, a place to just relax and leave all your cares at home or to enjoy various outdoor activities, this is the place for you where you can vacation in comfort.

The cabin is completely cleaned, the beds are freshly made and linens are put out on the day of your arrival.

We are your hosts and neighbors, Bud and Barb, and invite you to come vacation in our secluded hideaway and see why new friends and families come back year after year. Four miles north of Hale, we are centrally located with 60 lakes plus Lake Huron nearby, catering to all-season outdoor enthusiasts.

High Season Price : $125 per Day


Rates are for 4 people or less (8 people maximum)
Children under 2 years old: FREE!
Extra $10 per person per night exceding 4 people.
"Gift Certificates Available" For That Special Occasion!

A minimum of 50% Deposit required within 10 days of booking to secure reservation.

Cancellation policy: Deposits are refundable less a $35.00 service charge only if 14 days notice is given and we are able to re-rent the cabin.

Payment Methods Accepted: Cash, Checks, Money Orders, or PayPal for our United States guests.
For guests outside of the U.S.; only checks drawn on the Citibank or Chemical Bank of New York are acceptable.

Check in time: 4:00 to 6:00 pm (unless prior arrangements are made)
Check out time: Noon

Pets: A dog house is provided and a security deposit of $20.00 per pet is required along with deposit.
Absolutely NO pets are allowed inside the cabin.
