Snowmobiling: St.Ignace is the trailhead to hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile trails criss-crossing the entrie Upper Peninsula. Trails are directly accessed from several of our rental properties. For a unique experience, snowmobile across the "Ice Bridge" to Mackinac Island (check for trail conditions locally) or follow the trails to the frozen beauty of Tahquamenon Falls, Cut River Bridge and many other areas. Now matter which way you go you will have a great time.

From the covered deck you will have views of the new marina and Moran Bay, or just sit back and relax and watch the traffic. The nice size kitchen has stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, granite countertopps. Just west of town there is the Silver Mountain downhill skiing/tubing/snowboarding. Snow tubing w/rope tow, tube rentals and warming chalet and snack bar. Little Bear East Ice Arena/fitness center offers indoor skating (with skate rentals)and area hockey games. Gateway Lanes offer bowling, bumper bowling and glow bowling great place to have some evening fun. If you like to cross country skiing there are two place North Country Trails (National Forest)and Sand Dune Cross Country Ski Trails with seven groomed trails varying in lenght from 1.5 to 7.6 miles. If fishing is your thing we have a number of inland and great lakes to choose from for some great ice fishing. Casino, dining and drinks would make a great night out.

Directions: Take the first exit after exiting from the Mackinac Bridge northbound, turn right and go about one mile to the downtown area. Next to the Thunderbird Motor Inn and across from Ace Hardware, 11 minutes to the Lake Michigan Sand Dunes, 5 minutes to Mackinaw City, 50 min. to the Soo Boat Locks, 20 minutes to the Pellston Regional Airport and many attractions within an hour.
