Vacation Rental Description
This is an older 2 story house, pictures of which can be seen on our web site (BigBayCabin.com), with everything provided that you will need for your vacation. It is located only a short 100 yard walk from Lake Independence. House has full kitchen, laundry facilities, downstairs bath has a shower in it while upstairs bath contains a big tub, living room has couch and 2 easy chairs, TV, & VCR. House is heated with gas furnace or wood stove. There is a nice big sunporch where you can sit and read or just enjoy the peace and quiet. The lake is great for swimming, it has a nice hard sand bottom that stays shallow for a long ways out making it great for children to play in. If your a fisherman you'll be interested in knowing that the lake contains good numbers of small mouth bass, walleye, great northern pike and jumbo perch. We do provide dock space where you can dock your boat (we do not supply a boat). We do have a good supply of bikes for your riding pleasure. We are located 26 miles from the nearest good sized city so it is quiet. Your neighbors, the deer, bear, moose and fox usually are very quiet in the evenings so you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
