Vacation Rental Description
Actually there are two NON-SMOKING homes on a four acre lot directly on Lake Michigan with 220 feet of lake frontage, however, there is no beach access. The large home has 5 bedrooms and 3 full and 2 half baths and sleeps 9. The smaller home--the Granny house---has one bedroom and one full bath. Both homes have washers and dryers,fully equiped kitchens, microwaves, dishwashers, cable TVs, and VCRs. Between the large house and the lake there is a 20 foot by 40 foot heated in-ground pool with a concrete deck and fenced in for safety. Overlooking the pool and the lake is a 30x15 deck with benches, chairs and tables.
The larger home is quite spacious with the charm of an older home but with all modern amenities. The large kitchen is fully-equipped with appliances, dishware, glasses, and utensils. The dining room seats 20 and the living room is 20 foot by 30 foot with a large fireplace. There are two bedrooms on the first floor: the master bedroom has a queen sized bed and a full private bath. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a private bath. Upstairs (there are two stairways) are three bedrooms, a full bath, and a half bath. There are two screened-in porches both with a view of the lake and its spectacular sunsets. Each home also has a couch which opens to a queen-sized bed. There are two fold-up cots with mattresses.
The smaller home appears to be attached but is not. It has its own entrances, a large bedroom, full bath, living room, kitchen, and small fireplace. This home is ideal for older parents or newlyweds who want additional privacy.
We call the property "Feirin De" which is Gaelic for "God's Gift".
