The main home sleeps 8-10 comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs each with? 2 queen size beds. The family room has 2 futons with a chaise lounge. In addition, there is a projection television with surround sound. The entire property has wireless internet. There are two bathrooms on the main floor which services the property. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, silverware and an assortment of pots and pans. There is a large kitchen table that also serves as a great game table. The Bunk House was converted from the old garage on the property and sleeps 2-4. Don’t worry, we removed the old truck. This little place is quaint and peaceful. After a long day on the water, you’ll be sleeping like a baby when your head hits the pillow. The Bunk House is furnished with a 2 queen size beds and a game table. This is great cabin for the couple that wants a little privacy from the rest of the party. The Loft has a 3 Queen size beds and a large screen TV. The kids tend to love this room for connecting their xbox or Wii. What ever happened to those days of just playing Pong? A picture is coming as soon as I put the new beds in. Big Platte Lake is located in Benzie County in northwest lower Michigan. It is approximately 3.3 miles long and 1.6 miles wide, covers approximately 2550 acres, has a maximum depth of 95 feet and an average depth of 24 feet. The primary source of water for Platte Lake is the inflow from the Upper Platte River. With an average inflow of about 4 million gallons per hour, water in the lake has a “residence time” of just 6 months – quite a bit faster than the 10 years most other lakes in the area average. This all sports lake makes it great for swimming, boating and fishing. The shallow perimeter creates a safe area for the children to swim and play. The Fire Pit cannot be described.
