Beautiful home located directly on Schuss Mountain within minuets of Shanty Creek’s world class Legend golf course and the Cedar River’s Tom Weiskopf designed course. Mother Nature can be very kind and dump lots of snow on the drive and local roads. This is truly ski-in, ski-out; during the ski season 4WD is HIGHLY recommended, if not required. 
 
Three story, log home built on a private, wooded hillside located on Schuss Mountain within the Shanty Creek Resort; minutes from either The Summit or Cedar River Villages. The home has four bedrooms, a huge loft, and three-and-a-half baths, easily accommodating 16-20 people. Enjoy the huge upper level master suite with 2-person Jacuzzi tub.  
 
Both the main level (two bedrooms and 1 & 1/2 baths) and the upper level master and loft sleep 6 each. The amazing lower level with it's 10 foot ceilings and knotty pine walls sleeps 8 in one bedroom, living room with futon and two sleeper couches, kitchen, and bath with Jacuzzi tub. The separate levels make this the perfect lodging for two or three families. The open plan on the main level with vaulted living room, and fireplace creates a warm and comfortable space for gathering. Relax after golfing or skiing in a six-person hot tub below the large wrap-around deck overlooking the Chicken’s Choice ski run.

This beautiful "Schoonhoven" Log Home sleeps up to 16-20. Relax in the 6-person outdoor 4-season hot tub or enjoy the vista views from the two large cedar decks. Vaulted great room has natural woodburning fireplace. 4WD or AWD is highly recommended during the ski season (or anytime from mid September to late April when snow is a possibility). All the bathrooms have heated floors! You're going to love this one. Internet Access: Free wireless Internet is available at the Schuss and Summit Lobbies. There is no phone at the home so don't forget your cell phone. Enjoy the outdoor pool at Schuss Village.

    • Travel Info: Most people drive in Michigan; however, there is a bus station in Mancelona (just 10 min away via car) that I've listed below as "nearest train" as one can transfer from AmTrack to Greyhound (bus).
