On the main level, there is a living room with wood-burning fireplace, small cook's kitchen, lovely new addition sun-room/dining area and the master bedroom and one full bath. The washer and dryer is also on main level and the great screened-in porch, with the lake views, is in front of the house. 
 
Upstairs are 4 tiny, adorable bedrooms with lake views, and only a half bath is in the hallway. 
Reminiscent of the summers past, but having some modern conveniences, you'll forever cherish the memories of the summer vacation on Lake Garfield in Monterey.  
 
Located only 15 minutes from downtown Great Barrington for many restaurants, shopping, triplex cinema, in-door fitness and swimming fascilities and the same distance from historic Stockbridge. Tanglewood and Kripalu Yoga Center is less than 30 minutes from Monterey as are most of the other Berkshire activities 
 
Berkshires are magical in all seasons, you can enjoy the lakes in the summer and skiing in the winter and be here at anytime, within 2 hours from Boston or 3+- hours from NYC or Long Island.

The Cottage is very charming and within 5 minutes driving distance to the famous Monterey General Store, the library as well as the post office in downtown quaint Monterey. Located 15 minutes from Great Barrington and 20 minutes from Lenox and Tanglewood, or Jacobs Pillow in Becket, all the wonderful Berkshire atractions are within your easy reach. There is so much to do in Berkshires, for kids as well as the adults, and once you discover the magic of Berkshires, you'll know, that there is no other place like it anywhere, at least not so close to New York City, Boston or Long Island.

      High Season Price: $2,500 per Week
         

    This cottage is available through the entire Summer and Fall season, excluding the July 4th week and the week of August 25 through the Labor Day. Availability can also change, so please inquire with your rental requirements, and we will try to accomodate. Weekly price of $2,500 includes cost of utilities, but doesn't include the phone service nor the garbage removal. Security deposit of $1000 is required.
