Vacation Rental Description
Our cottage offers a screened porch an open living room-kitchen (with most everything you could need including a lobster pot). The two bedrooms offer queen sized beds and a closet, with each having a private bath. The bathrooms have showers, sinks and toilets. The cottage faces fantastic sunsets, and faces Harpswell. You have a front yard with picnic table and a charcoal grill. The beach below offers a rocky & seashell beach and we have a boathouse with porch and a dock to a float. At high tide it is about 12+ feet off the float. Suggest using old sneakers or beach shoes on shore. We are on the Bayside (calm water). We are walking distance to the Yacht Club, and to H2 Outfitters where you can rent kayaks.
This cottage sits back about 500 ft from the ocean, Merriconeag Sound the calmer side of the island. The seashore is seashells & stones. There is a dock, float and boathouse as well as small private beach.
The cottage has a side to side screened porch. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots,
pans, dishes & pot for lobsters. In the livingroom there is a color TV. Each bedroom has blankets & spreads
The bathrooms have toilets, sinks and just showers. It is a fairly quiet atmosphere although we are a few doors down from the yaught club so lots of boat activity to watch. We are on the bay side so no crashing waves. There are steps down to the beach.
