Vacation Rental Description
The River House is located on a private dirt drive and is directly on the stream from Howard Pond. There is an outsde fireplce and the deck almost overhangs the river. The location is very private and pristine. Only one other property owner uses the drive and that property is out of sight. There is use of the Howard Pond town beach just up the road and boat launch to the Androscoggin River at the bottom of the hill.
The cabin has a fully applianced kitchen with service for 8, a full bath with tub/shower and a washer dryer. The cathedral cieling living room has a gas Vermnot Casting Wood stove, TV,DVD dial up internet access and windows that overlook the river.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, the other a double bed and the laddered loft has 3 twin mattresses on the floor. The children love the tree house effect and the hatch opens so as to see whats happening below or to watch the TV.
