3 Bedroom Cottage in Poland Spring

Vintage Cottage surrounded by window boxes of flowers, and Guest House a few feet behind it, are just steps away from a large sandy beach and about 20' from Lake Thompson (4426 acres, 11 miles long, max depth of 121', and several islands). Since the lake is spring fed by the Poland Springs aquifer, it's considered to be one of the most pristine lakes in Maine. 
 
We recently reworked the floor plan and refurbished the cottage with all new thermopane windows (adding many to be able to see woods from every room); skylights that open to the stars; completely new kitchen and bath with tub/shower; 3/4" pine panelling throughout; porch surrounded by casement windows/screens has storage beneath bunk size seating/sleeping; new roof, 10' bear sculpture... and we aren't done yet!  
 
Cottage is open from the kitchen to the family room which has a cathedral 
ceiling with paddle fan and collestery windows providing lots of light and wonderful views from the loft. Great for entertaining. 
 
Guest House has a 2nd floor dorm room with a cathedral ceiling, two skylights and a paddle fan. First floor includes new washer, dryer, "antique" 2nd refer, and storage area.

Wonderfully appointed kitchen features new refrigerator, microwave, ceramic top stove with self cleaning oven, new sinks, cabinets and counters, all new pots and pans, casseroles and other dishes, new table and chairs, and even a huge lobster pot! You may use our linens and towels. Cottage mattresses are all new - 2 dbl, 1 twin, 2 bunksized in porch. One sofa pulls out. Guest house mattresses are also very comfortable. Other amenities: 4 window fans, Monitor heating, new TV with BI DVD, fire pit, large new outdoor grill, oversized picnic table, hammock, canoe, 10' aluminum fishing boat and motor. Dock can easily accommodate a 21'+ boat and is protected by a breakwater of boulders. If you need a bigger boat, rentals are nearby.
