Forty four windows provide expansive views of the lake and mountains. The lake is surrounded by land owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy, and provides excellent swimming, camping and boating. This private island of natural beauty is surrounded by tens of thousands of acres of conservation woodlands, and is just 1 1/2 miles to the ocean and 1/3 to the nearest neighbor! There's a beautiful sandy beach on the lake, and incredible hiking trails all around the area! Just move in an enjoy the beauty and solitude!!: Shopping is close by in Belfast and Camden. Guests are asked to clean the premises before departures, although optional cleaning services are available for a fee. There are several living room areas for guests to find privacy and quiet. A canoe is available to guests.
