Vacation Rental Description
If you are looking for a secluded get away, yet not in the middle of no-where, this may be just what you are looking for. Our cabin is located approx. 1 mile from Moosehead lake on a wooded acre lot. There are other cabins nearby, but not in sight. we are 7 miles from Greenville. Our cabin has a master bedroom with double bed, crib and comfy rocking chair. 2nd. bedroom has 2 dble. beds. The bedrooms are on 2nd level at each end of catwalk. Main living area is one great room with dining table & 8 chairs and a high chair. There is a futon, sofa bed and chair in sitting area along with game table and 2 chairs .We have a t.v., dvd player and vcr player with a small video library. There is also a radio and cd player The kitchen is fully stocked with an electric range, frig, microwave,toaster and dinerware for 8. There is an open spiral stair case in center of room to access catwalk. The cabin is heated with a propane stove.The bathroom is downstairs off to right of sitting area, with toilet, sink and shower. There is also a portable electric heater in bathroom. We have a window air conditioner which works very well. There is a screened in porch with porch swing and gas grill. There is also a shed on the propery. All pillows, linens, towels, washclothes and dish clothes are provided for your conveince

    • During winter months there is snowmobiling with trails accessible less then 1 mile from cabin. We are approx. 3 miles from Prong Pond which is famous for their ice fishing. There are places to rent ice fishing huts and gear within 7 miles. There is a snowmobile rental place within 10 miles. During spring and summer months you can go on a moose cruise or just go moose watching on your own. Chances of seeing a moose in late spring and early summer is about 98%. There are ATV trails less then 1 mile from cabin. There is also a private beach area for guest on Moose Head Lake. There are all kinds of lake and stream fishing nearby. Lily Bay National State Park is approx. 3 miles from cabin

    We require 20% down to reserve a date, remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival date. If you cancel before 2 weeks prior to your arrival date you will recieve 50% of your deposit back. If you cancel within 2 weeks of your arrival date we will not refund any of your deposit. We require a $100.00 security deposit along with payment, which we return within 2 weeks of your departure as long as everything is left in a respectable manor. We accept checks and money orders. We can no longer accept credit cards.
