Seaweed is located on Somes Sound, the only natural fjord on the east coast of the United States. Enjoy a sunrise greeting you as it rises over Parkman and Sargent Mountain. See sailboats taking off for deeper waters and heartier winds, or kayakers paddling their way along the coastline. This cottage is located in a secluded cove that affords you a nice, quiet, and relaxing atmosphere after a day in Acadia National Park. The Park has some of the best hiking trails and vistas on the East Coast. It also offers nature walks, naturalist cruises and lectures. Golf at any one of three courses located on the Island. Enjoy sailing, swimming and fishing in either the ocean or fresh water lakes close by. In season you can pick blueberries on the grounds for your enjoyment. Seaweed provides a secluded getaway that is centrally located to any of the attractions that Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park has to offer.

Seaweed and Deer Track have been in Mimi's family for several years but in recent years, we acquired them and have continued with the family business. In the few short years we have been in the rental business, we have meet lots of great people and have continued a good relation with many of our long time returning guest.

Acadia National Park is located all over Mount Desert Island and offers a wide variety of activities such as hiking, biking, and swimming to name a few.

A dock provides place to fish, kayaks are available for our guest to use, and the small village atmosphere allows for nice relaxing walks.

This rustic and cozy cabin has a large deck to sit and enjoy the quiet peaceful surroundings.

Low Season Price : $800
High Season Price : $1500 per Week

1/2 of rental rate (plus tax) due upon signing of lease to secure reservation, balance due one month prior to arrival.

A $250 security deposit is required.

$100 non-refundable pet fee (if applicable)
