The Dow Road Waterfront Cottage is located on Northwest Harbor, Deer Isle in the Penobscot Bay of Maine. It is a cosy, romantic, secluded hideaway tucked into the woods beside the water. The island is accessible by bridge and causeway from the Blue Hill peninsula. The cottage is steps from the beach with waterviews from the windows and deck. Spruce woods surround the cottage on three sides with the waterfront on the fourth side. There is lots of light, a well equipped kitchen and a perennial flower and herb garden. Furnishings are charming and comfortable; the deck is equipped for barbeque and sunbathing. Free DSL is available for your laptop. There is a DVD player for evenings at home. Enjoy the starry night sky. Weekly maid service is included. Perfect for a couple, plus room for one more on sleep couch in family room. This is a no smoking property. Well-behaved pets are allowed upon approval. 
 
Wonderful, secluded, mossy woodland and beach trails abound on Deer Isle. Sunbathe at the cottage, visit Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, hike, bike, kayak or take a boat ride to the outlying islands.
