It is a peaceful and luxurious space in the spot center of a vibrant, upscale and historic neighborhood noted for its plenitude of retail boutiques, fantastic eateries, live theatre, jazz clubs, and coffee shops. We offer nightly accommodations at a primo location.  
 
The property overlooks DePaul University and is within walking distance of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Steppenwolf Theatre, and the shopping mecca that is Armitage and Halsted. Fantastic sightseeing abounds in this residential neighborhood that blends the old, new and über-nouveau. It is centrally located with easy transportation to The Loop, Millennium Park, and Magnificent Mile—all minutes away by taxi or El train. Within walking distance, our guests will find scores of boutiques for an enormous array of shopping; dozens of restaurants from casual cafes to the finest dining establishments; and also salons, spas, churches, parks, fitness centers, and the Lincoln Park Conservatory and formal gardens.

The spacious guest room features a two-story cathedral ceiling with skylight, and overlooks a Japanese weeping cherry tree--offering a bucolic scene in an urban center. The king bed is upholstered in leather, fitted with a memory foam pillow top mattress, and dressed in premium Vera Wang linens. The room has a double closet with full-length mirrors and private bath. 
 
The Guest House is a renovated Chicago three flat that retains a scant few exterior features from its construction circa-1890, which was a part of the resurgence of building across the city following the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. It is a quiet retreat in the midst of lively city life, in a neighborhood of beautiful century-old homes and mansions. 
 
Chicago is the birthplace of deep dish pizza, the Bears, Ebony magazine, Second City improv, and the Oprah Show. Well known for its sports teams (and fans), Chicago excels in the arts, with a theatrical community rivaling Broadway, renowned architecture and art galleries. The live music scene is one of the most vibrant in the world. The Magnificent Mile and neighborhoods beyond are a mecca for shopping enthusiasts; Chicago’s restaurants feature food from around the globe.

    • The guest room is a king suite. Guests have access to our very large living and dining room which is beautifully decorated with modern, yet comfortable furnishings, fine art and lined with walls of books. The space is a very lovely, restful and quiet respite from the bustling neighborhood just beyond our front door.

      High Season Price: $295 per Day
         

    Deposit: one night’s rate required to confirm reservation. A two-night minimum stay is required on weekends, but do check with us for last-minute availability; we may be able to offer a single night’s stay. Cancellation: If a cancellation is confirmed seven days prior to arrival date, a charge of US $25 will apply. When a cancellation occurs within seven days of the arrival date, a charge of one night’s rate applies; this charge will be refunded in the event the room is re-booked.
