Vacation Rental Description
Beautiful, Contemporary, Comfortable, custom home approx.4,000 SF, with radiant floor heating on 10 acres, secluded with total privacy and exceptional views. The land is bordered with 2000+ acres of BLM land for outstanding hiking, snowshoeing and telemarking. The house is furnished with antiques and persian/oriental rugs. The house has the Great Rooom with full kitchen, a dining area and a breakfast nook. The Master Bedroom has a Kingsize bed, a full bath with Jacuzzi and a walkin closet. The North facing Guestroom has a Queensized bed with a full bath and a walkin closet with kitchenette. The South facing Guestroom has two twin beds (which can be put together to make a Kingsized bed) with a full bath and a walkin closet with kitchenette. The office has 1 Twin Bed. The Great Room and the Master Bedroom have gas fireplaces. The 2 guestrooms can be isolated from the main house and both rooms have outside private entrances and outside individual parking area. Every room is provided with Cable/Satellite TV, DVD player, a telephone and wireless internet connection. The house has covered parking for 3 cars and one in locked garage. The house also has an outdoor Jacuzzi and a Deck/Patio with outdoor propane heater and a Gas BBQ Grill.
The house also has a totally separate Apartment (900 SF) consisting of 1 bedroom, 1.5 baths and a full kitchen, which can be rented separately. The bedroom has a King size bed and a Queen size Hide-a-bed is in the Living Room. This apartment is provided with Cable TV, Wireless Internet and a covered garage. Extra roll-away beds can be provided for 2 more occupants.
The house uses a wall system developed and patented by us. The walls are made of recycled plastic. The material was developed to be environmentally friendly while conserving energy and uses a non-biodegradable inert byproduct of petroleum refining. The product has high insulation properties and is very comfortable in this valley where temperatures are extreme. The house was designed in keeping with an oriental belief called "Vastu" (Vedic principles similar to Fengshui). The house and furnishings are positioned precisely in relation to the sun, water and air circulation.......the three life giving forces to the earth. You will feel the therapeutic affect of these natural rejuvenating forces, in the house.
The house is located 1.5 miles from downtown Sun Valley and 10 minutes away from the Ski Mountain. In winter, we have a free local bus service, which picks up skiers from the end of our driveway every hour. All Restaurants, Shops, Market, Golf Courses etc. are 10-15 minutes drive away, in downtown Sun Valley. All our guests get a free membership to the Harker Center for the use of the Outdoor and Indoor Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts and a discount for golfing at the Elkhorn Golf Course.

All the Restaurants, Shops, Gyms, Cinemas, Theatres are located downtown Sun Valley, which is 10 minutes away from the house. The Ski mountain, Baldy, is 10 minutes away from the house and the local free bus will pick you up from the end of our driveway and drop you off every hour. We have access to hiking trails right from our back yard.
