Warm and friendly beautifully landscaped Sun Valley Townhome with breathtaking panoramic views of Bald Mountain, the Wood River Valley, and the Pioneer mountains. This contemporary duplex gives a feeling of peace and luxury with tasteful, modern furnishings and light Berber carpeting throughout. Light-filled vaulted ceilings in the great room are open to the spacious kitchen. This 2800 square foot duplex accommodates a family or group in comfort and luxury. The upstairs family room has a private deck and split level front entry. The first floor den with fireplace and TV serves as a second living room to the two bedrooms downstairs. Outside the downstairs den there is a large padio that can be used to grill out on or dine outside, or just sit and enjoy a glass of wine while you enjoy the magnificent views!
Located on Warm Springs Road approximately three blocks to the Ski slopes & lodge and two miles to downtown Ketchum where shopping, dining sightseeing and art galleries are plentiful! For those without private transportation, The Kart bus conveniently stops right in front of the house. Located within a few minutes walk are numerous winter and summer activities including skiing, fly fishing, biking, back packing and hiking.
Items of Note: Two gas fireplaces, in upstairs living room and downstairs den. Full-size washer & dryer in townhouse. Private hot tub with gorgeous view of ski mountain (eight persons).
Sleeping Arrangements: Master bedroom: Queen-size hand-crafted pine log bed and matching furniture, with a spacious master bathroom including separate shower, full bath with Jacuzzi tub, walk in closet and dual his/her granite vanity. Bedroom Two: two twin beds or one king bed. Bedroom Three: queen bed with hand-crafted pine log bed and matching furniture. Bedroom Four: single bunk beds. Additional Beds: There is a den with a queen sofa sleeper, 30 inch TV and VCR downstairs.
Kitchen: The fully equipped open kitchen with rich granite counters, ash cabinetry, hardwood floors, state of the art appliances, including gas stove/oven, and great views will appeal to everyone. Amenities include a microwave, a dishwasher, in-door ice maker, toaster, blender, coffee maker, and all dishes, cookware, glassware and utensils needed for gourmet meals!
Dining Room: The rectangular wood dining table seats up to eight guests. It is adjacent to the living room and kitchen with sliding doors to the upper patio with a gorgeous view of the mountains.
Living Room: Gorgeous vaulted ceilings and surrounding picture windows which gives way to picturesque sunrises and romantic sunsets over the mountainous landscape! Big comfy new sofas and chairs are arranged around a slate tile gas fireplace with built in media space. Sitting on the sofa's, one has a clear view of the skiers coming down the mountain from one side, or the majestic mountains in the other. There is a 32 inch stereo TV with DVD player and a stereo system with CD player.
Other Notes: This property has a private hot tub in the back yard with views of the ski mountain. The ground floor boasts a convenient two car garage with ski racks and plenty of storage! The downstairs area is at ground level so it is handicap friendly. The townhome has two living areas with gas fireplaces to facilitate separate youth and adult activities. The home is located directly on Warm Springs Road, with the bus stop right outside the door. Their is a swimming pool less than a mile away that is open to the public..
