This is the spot you dream of when you think ocean front island luxury. Our newly remodeled condo is unique at Wailea Ekahi Village and offers quality, comfortable luxury with a Hawaiian feel and exceptional ocean and west Maui mountain views. Watch whales in season. Peaceful and quite setting tropical setting in the heart of Wailea with easy access to shops, restaurants, concierge and Wailea's ocean front board walk.
This has been a high end luxury remodel. Everything was removed inside, walls rearranged, ceilings raised, central A/C add along with new baths, full catering kitchen and all new furniture. We are less than a 2 minute stroll from the beach down Ekahi's greenbelt or via paved access road. A small second bedroom with bath
and dressing area has been added to our condo. This special space functions as a spacious hallway to the second bath until one or two Italian twin wall beds are
opened. Essentially functions as a 2 bedroom condo for 3 adults or families of 4 with one child at least 7 years of age.
Enjoy our Teak & Corian Kitchen with high-end appliances. This space was gutted and now offers plenty of room for 2 cooks and more efficient counter space. We have a gas grill on our lanai so you can enjoy sunsets and moonsets in the comfort of your own home. Our concierge will shop for you should you not want to stop for groceries on your way from the airport. The condo is fully stocked with bed linens, beach and other towels, hair dryer, washer/dryer, iron/ironing board, beach chairs and coolers and much more. The kitchen is outfitted completely, even pizza cutters, ice cream scoops and coffee grinder. This is our home mid January- March so you can count on the quality.
We have a minimum of 9' ceilings through out, with cathedral or cove ceilings in the living/dining room, bedroom and kitchen. Wailea is a resort that still has an island feel on the quiet, sunny, south side of Maui. Low rise condos, miles of beach front, with several 5 star hotels (Fairmont, 4 Seasons, Grand Wailea, Marriott Outrigger). 5 World class golf courses and 2 tennis clubs with lights and instruction, many restaurants and shopping. At Ekahi you never need to see a car to walk to the beach, dine ocean front, snorkel, kayak and more.
Ekahi Village offers 34 acres of tropical splendor with a locked gate onto Keawakapu Beach. 4 Pools, shuffle board,paddle tennis and acres of flowers, grasses and colorful tropical plants. Each cluster of 2 story low rise buildings has parking adjacent but with 34 acres and just 10 acres with buildings, you'll find a lot more privacy at WaileaEkahiVillage than other resorts.
Facilities
Our pricing includes a full departure cleaning and all your linens (2 sets for each person/bed). We do not disturb you with daily maid service but we have a housekeeper and handyman who have worked for us for years. They are on call to our guests. You will receive Linda and Joe's local home and pager numbers before you arrive. The numbers are also posted in the condo. Linda can arrange for extra cleanings at your expense should you want a more hotel like existence and is a great resource for many things. Joe will bring refills for the gas grill as well as handle any other physical problems that might arise. Ekahi has free parking, 4 pools - the ocean front pool is less than two minutes away but there is also a coveted "quiet pool" adjacent to our building. The Shops At Wailea can be reached by car (2 min) or sidewalk (5 min) and offer wonderful restaurants, personal services and a variety of shopping, including food needs.
Activities
Walk the soft sands of Keawakapu Beach, build sand castles, swim in the gentle swells of the ocean or ride body boards in the light surf. This gorgeous beach stretches abou 1 MI north of Wailea Ekahi and ends at the 5 Palms grill - a great spot to stop for a treat. Shade, sun and smooth sand well into the surf.
Play in the tide pools, snorkel or scuba near the reef on Ulua Beach or access Wailea's ocean front board walk: 1.5 miles, the length of Wailea, with access to Wailea's 5 ocean front hotels & shopping. At the hotels you can rent beach toys, ocean kayaks, or sign up for surf lessons. Enjoy a spa & get massages ocean front.
Wailea Ekahi Village offers the best of sunny south Maui - wonderful values, ocean front while able to enjoy the luxuries of the local hotels.
