The kitchen, dining room and central family room face the ocean and offer plenty of space, sunlight and comfort for all.
Walk fifty paces to one of Kuai's safest beaches. Protected by a barrier reef, this uncrowded beach is called "baby beach" by the locals because of the gentle surf and safety afforded to smaller children. In the evenings walk to historic Kapaa Town and enjoy local Hawaiian food or a variety of fine restaurants.

Kauai has some of the best surfing in the world as well as wind and kite surfing. There are some spectacular hiking trails along the Napali Coast and Waiamea Canyon (Grand Canyon of the Pacific) as well as many mountain biking trails. Of course the fishing here is increadable and there are many charter boats available for hire. There are guided boat tours of the Napali Coast that should be an absolute must for every visitor as well as helecopter tours of the entire Island. There is also water skiing at the Wailua river as well as kayaks to rent there and out at the Hanalei River on the North Shore.
