Truly breath-taking! You leave all your cares & troubles behind as you enter paradise! Beauty & peace surround you in every direction. From every inch of the kitchen & living room you see a stunning ocean view unlike I have ever seen. The floor to ceiling glass wall opens up to allow the fresh air to come in as much or as little as you like. The area feels quite secluded and private. I loved taking daily long walks around the beautiful trails. Another favorite pass-time was whale watching on the large, spacious balcony (linai). The pool is wonderful for all ages with water slide, waterfalls, and zero gravity entry. Everything about Pukalani blew away my expectations. The rooms were spacious and beautifully and comfortably furnished. The gourmet kitchen has sub-zero appliances and is fully equipt. If you are looking for a truly amazing vacation experience, look no further! You will NOT be disappointed. I look forward to visiting here again!

This was our third trip to Kauai and our first stay in Lihu'e. (stayed in Po'ipu & Princeville prior trips). Lihu'e is centrally located & has best service availability. We almost always rent condos or houses when we travel - this condo was one of the best we have stayed in. Spacious, well appointed, clean and a beautiful location (the photos don't do it justice!) A quiet location, great pool and the fitness center at the hotel is among the best we have seen at a hotel (we own a health club). This is a great value - I would recommend to my family.

Ron and Alice, the owners, are probably the sweetest people on the face of this earth. I spoke to them on the phone a few times before renting this condo from them, and it is obvious they love their second home and it is obvious why. Ron even gave us personal contacts on the island for our daughter, who has a medical condition. We loved this condo. It was perfectly clean on arrival, the size was perfect for a family of four, the location was spectacular and we were close to everything. The condo pool was amazing--it was our daughters' favorite place to hang out. The view is as amazing as it appears on this website, even better live and in person. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone. The only negative comment I have would be about the surrounding buildings not being finished. On first arrival, it's a little daunting. Just keep driving, and indeed, Heaven's Gate is just around the corner. Workers appeared to be tearing up the golf course, and we weren't sure what that was about. Truly, though, we're not golfers, and we really didn't care. The view was still spectacular. We also enjoyed working with Kauai Vacation Rentals. Everyone there was very nice. We loved the welcome coolers with treats and bottled waters. We ended up using the coolers a lot for when we went to the pool. Thanks to Kauai Vacation Rentals, and also to Ron and Alice for helping us have the vacation of a lifetime.

My family has just returned home from our 9 day holiday at Pukalani and we were VERY sad to have to go home. It really is Heaven's Door -- the beautiful views from the lanai and the paths along the lagoons are truly breathtaking. Although the nearby buildings are still under construction and the golf course is not quite finished, it did not lessen the beauty in the least. Thank you, Ron, for the telephone call, asking us how everything was -- very nice touch. You made the rental process smooth and easy. We enjoyed breakfast on the large lanai each morning, eating fresh pineapple and drinking Kaua'i coffee -- mmm!! One of the neighbors introduced themselves when we arrived and gave us some great tips on where to go and where to eat -- thank you. The condo itself was just gorgeous and the professional-grade kitchen was VERY hard to leave behind! We've never had such incredible appliances at our disposal -- first-class all the way. We definitely recommend taking a boat trip to the Na Pali coastline -- we went on the Lucky Lady and it was the most fun we've ever had! Also, it's worth driving up the east side on the Kuhio Hwy. to see Princeville and Hanalei -- the lush vegetation will take your breath away. On the way, make sure to stop at Bubba's Burgers in Kapa'a. OMG -- so fantastic, even Jack Black and Steven Tyler stopped there for the burgers! All in all, Pukalani more than exceeded our expectations and we have returned rested and happy and looking forward to our next visit. Mahalo to you, Ron and Alice, for sharing your vacation home with us. We'll be back! Karen, Ed, Steven and Michael B.

We spent sixteen days at this property and it couldn't have been nicer. It is about one mile from the Marriott Beach resort, but it was very quiet and peaceful. You could easily have walked from the resort to the condo, but we were there in August and it was about 85 and humid. Not bad, we just preferred to drive. The pool and hottub area was beautiful, it also had an area with four gas grills that were cleaned daily by the staff. The grills and outdoor tables were surrounded by hibiscus that were blooming. The The apartment was practically brand new and beautifully decorated.. It seemed that whatever we needed was just where we would expect it. The owners left beach bags, umbrellas, beach toys and beach mats, books, maps, and many more little extras. There is a lovely beach area over the little cliff that is fun to walk to and watch the waves crash in. Even though you are very near the airport, there was very little noise with the planes coming and going. It was fun to watch them and the ships and little boats that came in and out of the harbor. When you walked from the bedroom into the kitchen for your first cup of coffee in the morning, you felt like you were on a ship, the view looked over the golf course and onto the water. The golf course is under construction right now, but should be even more beautiful soon. All in all, I think it was a good value for Kauai, and we really enjoyed ourself there.

PUKALANI ( HEAVENS DOOR ) A MARRIOTT GRAND RESIDENCE
Our newly built second home is located 100 feet above the Pacific Ocean, with mountain views across the bay, and two ocean front golf holes of the newly redesigned Jack Nicklaus Kiele Golf Course in front of you. Even the back door has a great view of the 40 acre Kauai Lagoons with manicured grounds and secluded walking trails. Our home is called "PUKALANI" which means "Heavens Door." The minute you walk through the door, you will see "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away". You will know you are in paradise. Kauai has many fun activities, but you will find it hard to leave the beauty and amenities of Pukalani and the Marroitt Grand Residence. Our condo is the perfect place to stay if you are attending an event at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. We are a short walk or drive to the hotel. Why stay in a hotel room when you can be living in a new 2 bedroom condo with a gourmet kitchen, grills, pool and much more all with breath taking views.
We welcome you to our island home. Ron and Alice
