The MAKAMAE Studio is located on the first floor with view and entrance into the garden. The GARDEN Suite is on the first floor and its entrance and living room are looking out into the garden. The Suite offers a dining/living room area and a kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster oven, several small kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. The apartment has its private bathroom and separate entrance. With the queen-size bed in the master bedroom the suite is perfect for a couple. A single bed can be moved into the living room. Rates: $130 per night (up to two guests) plus tax, additional guests over 12 are $20 per night plus tax extra, children under 12 are free. The LANAI Suite is located on the second floor and its master bedroom, living room and balcony are overlooking the garden. The Suite offers two bedrooms, a dining/living room area, and a kitchenette with stove top, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishes and other kitchen items. The futon full-size couch/bed in the living room, the king-size bed in the master bedroom and queen-size bed in the second bedroom provide space for up to 5 guests. A separate entrance and your own bathroom give you full privacy. Rates: $150 per night (up to two guests) plus tax, additional guests over 12 are $20 per night plus tax extra, children under 12 are free. The breakfast room is a perfect place for our orchids to grow and you will see why the Big Island is also called the Orchid Isle.

• Travel Info: From Hilo Town/Airport drive in the direction of Volcano. Turn left at the Keaau by-pass onto Pahoa-Kalapana-Highway (Hwy. 130). Follow Hwy 130 past Pahoa, until you come to mile marker 13. Slow down, a few hundred yards further turn left into Leilani Estates. Now, follow Leilani Avenue to Makamae Street. Turn left here and drive almost to the end of Makamae Street. Our Bed & Breakfast is the last house on the right hand side. There is also a sign right at the driveway. The house number on the mailbox across the street is 13-3315. From Volcano If you are coming from Volcano, follow signs to Keaau/Hilo and turn right in Keaau onto Hwy 130. From there, follow the directions given above.
