VIEWS ARE MAGNIFICENT ! large redwood framed windows slide all the way back. Looking down you can see the surf washing up on shore. Watch the fishermen with their nets or bows and arrows catching their dinner. See the surfers catch the big waves from early morning to early evening. When the surf comes in it brings the turtles to feed on the rocks. You can see them pop their little heads up or see their flippers as they try to stabilize themselves to feed on the rocks. This scene is just below your window in the living room, dining room and kitchen at about 6 p.m. 
If you like to walk or jog in the mornings or evenings, outside the door is Alii Drive, where you will pass 
beaches, parks, and stop for an early morning swim . Later in the day the sun drenches the beaches with warmth, 
and it's time for another swim. 
We provide beach accessories: Mats, chairs, boogieboards, water shoes, coolers, wetsuits, and snorkel gear on 
request. We have lots of books on the island and adventures you can take on your own around the island. Or, 
you can just relax and watch the surf outside your window. 
Kailua Town is just 3 miles away with lots of restaurants and shops. There is live music and dancing in town - 
from the Hard Rock Café to Huggo’s's on the Rocks.

amenities, just finished tiling around the pool. You will find Banana trees, Papaya Trees, and fresh herbs 
growing poolside. 
Enjoy a relaxing day around the pool, or have a swim with the turtles and fish at famous snorkel beach, Kahalu'u 
Beach, just 5 min drive from the house. Here, everyday there are hundreds of fish to swim with along with the 
turtles measuring up to 3 ft. across. We are less than a mile from the best sandy beach on this side of the island 
for swimming and boogieboarding. If you are an accomplished ocean swimmer/boogieboarder - you can swim 
behind the house - We swim with turtles almost everyday there - it is their feeding ground. There is fishing just 
behind the house. Watch them fishing with nets, poles, bow and arrow and speargun. 
Catch it and cook it just outside the house ! Our kitchens are fully equipped with serving and cooking utensils 
and the pantry is stocked with staples such as spices, sugar, artificial sweeteners, coffee, tea, soy sauce, oil, 
mustard, etc.. 
In the evening light your own Tiki Torches around the pool while the surf crashes just below. Enjoy a barbecue 
on the edge of the ocean, or take a midnight swim in the solar heated pool. It is all waiting for you here in 
ShangriLa !
