This is a 1 bedroom condominium unit located on the 3rd floor (Sorry, no elevator service in the building!) in a small, quite, 13 unit complex with one assigned open stall parking space. The unit is completely furnished with just about every concievable amenity including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and bookie boards. 
 
The unit has incredibly spectacular Ocean, Beach, and Sunset views from the covered top floor lanai (patio). This is one of the very few properties in the Kailua-Kona area that has both a truly spectacular ocean view while being within walking distance (less than 1/2 block downhill!) of a sandy, swimable beach and snorkeling area (Kahalu'u Beach Park).

    • This unit is completely furnished with a kind sized bed, color TV & DVD player, and air conditioning unit in the bedroom. The living room was remodeled in May 2005 and includes a new comfortable queen sized sleeper sofa. AM/FM stereo with CD player, color TV with cable (70+ channels) with VHS/DVD player, Free local telephone service with fax machine, stackable washer/dryer unit. Kitchen completely stocked including an electric range and oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, small applicances, cookware, dishware, glassware, cooking utensils and cutlery. Ceiling fans are located in both the bedroom and living rooms. The Lanai (covered porch) has a ceiling fan, table with 4 chairs, chaise lounge, and the most incredible ocean and sunset views found anywhere on the island!

    • Besides the sparkling clean pool and jacuzzi, there is a gas babecue on site locate in the pool area. An easy down hill walk to sandy Kahalu'u Beach Park which has some of the best snorkeling in all of Hawaii, as well as giant Sea Turtles! Surfing with board rentals and lessons is available less than 100 yards north on Alii Drive. Approximately 1 mile north from Makolea is White Sands Beach (aka Magic Sands Beach) which is one of the best wave riding and boogie boarding beaches in the Kailua-Kona area. Shopping, restaurants, and movie theatres (7 screens) are all conveniently located just a few minutes south in Keauhou (15 minutes by walking!)

Rates subject to change without notice until deposit is accepted! 3 Day Minimum rental period on all rentals! All rates plus 11.41% Hawaii State Occupancy & Sales Taxes! $10 per day extra per person charge for occupancy by more than 2 persons! One Time Departure Cleaning Service Fee of $85 on all rentals!
