“It was one of our most delightful vacations”
Reviewed February 26, 2011 1person found this review helpfulThe room top floor room we rented was quiet and cozy.We rented our room from Rita she was great and very accommodating. Everything felt very comfortable. We saved money, The price was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an amazing Hawaiian vacation and cannot wait to return. The room had new bedding and tile floors and felt nice. We really enjoyed our trip !

“was sceptical...however....”
Reviewed March 6, 2011 My boyfriend and I stayed in room 329 Feb 26-march 4, 2011. I have stayed all over the Carib, Mexico etc and I had my reservations about this place. We had many back and forth emails with owner about some of the reviews and was assured hers was the "exception". It IS hit and miss with some of the condos (I saw them) and we were very impressed with ours. A little outdated in bath and galley style kitchen. but tile floors and supplies and LOCATION made up for all and the grounds are FAB!!! Pool and hot tub were nice too. Cute, quaint and did I mention location? We drove thru VNP and stayed one night in Hilo. We coul not wait to get back to our little slice of heaven. The snorkle beach Kahaluu is the BOMB!! It is 5 mins south. No cockroaches, just cute gecko's.The price is right! I say do it! Room 329...

Reviewed March 19, 2011 1person found this review helpfulwe stayed for the month. the condos are set in a lush,tropical paradise. our condo was bright & immaculetly clean. the lanai was big, private, quiet & very lush with tropical trees. the staff was wonderful. had a great laundrey room. Alii drive waqs outside the gate, so it was very convenient for shopping,strolling, eating. Beach right across the street. Couldnt ask for more at a wonderful price. We will definitely come back next year-but for 2 months instead of one! Rita Roberts ownes some of the condos. Call her. She is the best! Rita-we love you and cant wait to see you next year. Dear Rita,
I would like to give you a BIG THANK YOU for the wonderful stay we had @ Hawaii and at your apt. The location was so perfect. Close to everything. I personally felt the rooms were small for 4 ppl to sleep comfortably (my wife doesnt think so though! :-)), but hey, i cant complain.
Your guide was so FANTASTIC and couldn't thank you enough for that, The neighborhood restaurants and the farmers market were awesome awesome...so awesome. we infact managed to drive around the entire island and go to Hilo, see the Volcano, La kae, submarine tour, snorkelling and not to forget the luvly luvly beaches. Its sad that we could not spend more time there, but i know whom to contact when we decide to go back to Hawaii.
Also i would like to assure you that i will certainly recommend your apt in case any of my friends or family want to visit the Big Island. Also wanted to check if you have any accommodations in any other island like Maui and others.

Hi Rita
Im home and have had a great time away. My 2 races in Beijing were very successful winning them both, which set me up for Kona where I also had a good win so very pleased.
My winning has the advantage of automatic qualification for next years race, so I would love to use your accomodation again next year, it is the best spot to be on the Island close enough, and far enough away to be out of the hype.The accomodation worked out great, very quiet and great facilities Jenny and I had 1/2 the bouble bed each and Sue and Pete used the fold away.
Every thing was great and I enjoyed being there.
Hope all is well with you have a great Halloween and all the best for Christmas which is coming around so quickly.
