Vacation Rental Description
Come enjoy our beautiful condo directly on the ocean in wonderful Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. We are 40 feet from the shore and on the first floor of accomodations. Any closer you would need a boat! So close, you can see the turtles and flying fish below. Of course there is much more to see; surfing, breaching whales, dolphins, ships, sunsets, reef fishermen, night snorkeling fisherwoman - all here on this lanai. If you do nothing else, you'll have a fabulous time! But there is so much to do on the big island! Visit the Mauna Kea observatory, experience a live volcano, snorkel, kayak, tour an ancient Hawaiian village, see what's going on at the Natural Energy Lab, explore Hawaii and search for your perfect beach. Kona has the best shopping and dining on the big island. But, if you don't feel like going out - the dining is superb on our lanai! Come see us! You'll have a five star vacation for a three star price!
Pack lightly! We keep everything here for you! Full kitchen. (I love to cook when I have time, so the kitchen has everything you want or need). Laundry appliances (and detergent). TV's, VCRs, DVDs, music, cable, high speed WIFI throughout, fax, printer, scanner, telephone, answering machine, books, games videos. Beach mats, cooler, beach towells and umbrella. All cotton sheets. Elevator, pool and hot tub. Something you need? just call me - I'll bet we have it.
Facilities
Our condo is like coming home - fully loaded with everything you'll need for a fabulous stay! Quality linens and towels, beach towels, a fully stocked kitchen, bar-b-ques on site, beach chairs, mats and umbrellas. Oh! island tip... Always carry a cooler in your car. And yes, there are coolers for your use. There will be no sacrifices here! Coffee espresso, drip or French press. Juicer, waffle iron, blender, food processor. Laundry in the unit. Books, games, DVDs and videos. WIFI, printer, fax and scanner. Computers are available in the lobby. We want you to make this your annual vacation get away.
Activities
The Big Island. Bigger than all of the islands combined. All but two of the climate zones found on the planet earth are on this island. We have a live volcano. (Not many who can say that!) Did you know that there is a world class telescope and astronomy center. You can book an excursion to the Canada, France, Italy observatory (if you're over 16 years of age). All of this in addition to golfing, hiking, horseback riding, tennis, site seeing. If there is snow on the mountain, you can ski in the morning and snorkle in the afternoon. All of this is great if you aren't too tired from watching the show on the oceanfront lanai with a cool drink at your elbow.

$200 non-refundable will hold your dates until 90 days prior, when full payment is due. Refund policy is 50% if the condo can be rerented. We accept checks. HI State Tax is currently 13.1%. There is a $75 cleaning fee paid in advance.
