The house overlooks the Pacific Ocean on the Big Island of Hawaii. Breathtaking vistas sweep in every direction with spectacular sunsets over the ocean and views of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Maui and the Kohala range. Upon opening the gates, the sights and sounds of the fabulous water gardens transport visitors to another dimenion. Brimming with exotic species of water lilies and colorful flashes of huge Japanese Koi, it is these gardens that provided the home it name - Lilio Lana I Ka Wai, which translates as "the home of the water lilies." Full time caretaker, 6+ bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 bars, pool and spa, fully equipped office with high speed internet access, media room with state of the art equipment. Extra rooms can be arranged if needed. House guests have full use of the Hapuna Prince Hotel, including golf at guest rates. Mauna Kea Beach is also available. Master bedroom suite includes fitness area, separate sinks, jacuzzi tub and separate shower, access to office. California king size bed. Flat screen TV's throughout the bedrooms. Cable service included. AC in each bedroom. 2 bedrooms also have california king beds. 1 bedroom has queen size, 1 bedroom has full size and 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds. Each bedroom has private full bath. Media room allows for easy television watching for large crowd. Living/dining room upstairs for elegant dinners, Lanai area adjacent to pool works well for all other meals, rest and relaxation. 2 car covered garage. Excellent 2nd floor deck viewing for watching whales and sunsets. Lucky Bennet, famed Big Island architect, custom designed this house with locally grown Koa wood bar, chaddar waterfalls over marble staircases and many other delights for the senses.

    • House guests have acceess to 2 5 star resorts, the Hapuna Prince and the famed Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Each hotel has its own golf course. The Mauna Kea has the best beach on the island, a beach bar, the Hau tree beach-side cafe, 2 sets of Tennis courts and beauty salon. The Hapuna has many shops, a large pool, several restaurants and many Hawaiiana activities for the family. Each beach provides towels, chairs, umbrellas and rental equipment for snorkeling. Yoga classes at the beach, a fitness center and 2 world class golf courses. Nearby are many other luxurious hotels, as well as old-fashioned Hawaiian charm and historic sites to visit. Lots of nature, kayaking, hiking is closeby.

    $2400/day, 5 day minimum, $15,000/week. $500 out-cleaning fee. Call for rates for holiday weeks - christmas, thanksgiving, february vacation, spring break. Payment is by check only. 50% deposit with signed contract. 30 days before rental, $5000 security deposit, $500 telephone deposit.
