Vacation Rental Description
This is a residential vacation home near the Volcano National Park. The rate is per bedroom and could have different people in the two bedrooms downstairs. Cat Room has a queen bed and the Bears Room has 2 twin beds. Each has a private half bath connected with a lockable shower. The upstairs Heart bedroom with queen bed is only rented with families together downstairs as they have to go downstairs to use the bathroom.  
The caretaker lives in the upstiars studio.  
 
Downstairs has a sitting room and a VCR with a few videos. There is no TV. Verizon cell phones will work in this area. There is a honor fee laundry facility. $1.50 per wash per dry. And a small kitchenette for light cooking. Coffee, tea, juice and pastries are complementary.

    • The downstairs has Cat Room with queen bed and Bears Room with 2 twin beds. Each has a half bath connected with a lockable shower. Upstairs is the Heart Room with a queen bed. This room must go downstairs to use the bathroom and is rented only with families together downstairs. The rate is per bedroom plus taxes. Honor fee for the laundry facilities $1.50 washer or dryer. There is a small kitchenette for light cooking. A downstairs sitting room and VCR with a few videos. There is a carport and porch outside. We require no smoking or alcohol in the house. Enjoy and relax in a fun decorated home. This is under Ecotourism with conservation in mind. It is a quiet residentail area.

    • Nearby there is a local winery, Volcano Golf course, awesome Orchid Nursery with gift shop, good and reasonable restaurant "Lava Rock Cafe" with limited Internet connection, great grocery store with home made jams, pastries, fun gift shop and an authentic Thai Restaurant.  
    Down the Mountain towards Hilo is a Macadamia Nut farm, a zoo, a candy factory and many waterfalls and gardens.

      High Season Price: $600 per Week
         

    The rate is per bedroom. One night is $125 plus 11.25% taxes. Total $139.06. Two nights or more is $100 plus taxes. Stay 6 nights and get the 7th free. Total including taxes is $667.50. You can pay with Travelers checks, postal money orders or bank checks in American Money. Cancellation policy is a full refund if the time can be rebooked or there is no refund.

    Enjoy the environment

    Aloha, I have been involved in conservation since moving to our 27 acres almost 34 years ago. Mostly because the neighboring ranch was using severe poison in their pasture land and I was afraid for my children and animals that might wander into those spaces.

    For many years now I have been an active volunteer as Chair of the Hana Soil and Water Conservation District and V.P. for Maui Island. I attend state meetings and also on the Board of Tri-Isle Economic and Development Council.

    I am environmentally conservative on my land as is possible but some things are so aggressive in a tropical area, that we do have to carefully use some things to remove them.

    Since it is paradise for everyone and everything, we are used to dealing with critters who live here, too. Makes a good exciting tale to tell back home.
