Vacation Rental Description
BEACH cottage provides you access to gorgeous white, seashells galore beach paradise Walk about 100 feet and the beach is yours! There is only one other private beach access on island. {Beaches on Sanibel are dog friendly too!} Seagrape Cottage has a special, old time Florida-friendly feel & all the comforts of home.
Great for a romantic get-away or a fun family holiday in a safe and gorgeous residential area.
Fully and tastefully furnished. We'll cater to your every need. Bring sandals & bathing suit. All else is here for your enjoyment - restaurants galore! So much to do on island.
Located on Best End of the Island because of easiest on/off entrance to causeway to Ft Myers, great shopping & much more. Don't wait in long car lines on your end of the island. In Olde Town at Lighthouse Point.
Bike or hike the island as you check out the unique wildlife. Home to many writers and artists: you'll be among artists, celebrities, and plain folks.
This is a quaint home to kick back and relax. Island is very friendly to international people as well; German, Spanish and French speakers. It boasts at least 50 restaurants of all kinds, boating, fishing pier, biking across the island and onto Captiva Island, hiking, nature trails and parks, amusements of all kinds, theatre productions on island and shopping galore.
Facilities
Each side of the duplex is divided by a concrete wall to provide privacy with separate screened porch on each side. A residential area. It's a private-access beach road so you simply gather your beach equipment, throw on your bathing suit, and walk about 3 minutes to the lovely Sanibel dunes. PRIVACY! You'll love the quietness of this area. Unlike the West End of Sanibel, this is where the real people live who enjoy Sanibel for most of the year. The Olde Towne hosts the famous Lighthouse Cafe as well as the most delicious ice cream possible! Be careful how much of it you eat -- it's habit forming. The Lighthouse is there as well as the fishing pier. We are also an alternative lifestyle community. Dog friendly beach. (We have some restrictions on which pet you may bring to our cottage Sanibel and Captiva Islands are an experience you'll want to enjoy for many years to come.
Activities
Bike the island and see it for yourself. The shopping in Sanibel/Captiva and the nearby Naples area is the best. So much to choose from. The activities are endless.
Children will be forever interested in all the islands have to offer.
Adults will love the jazz club, live theatre, two film cinemas, so many restaurants you won't be able to try them all, the shopping and more to do if you don't want to spend your days lying on the beach. Our island hosts famous guest speakers -- The Big Arts and the Sanibel Library are constantly providing intellectual and artistic stimulation for residents and guests. Try the Mucky Duck & Bubble Room for special fun
This is a community of very happy, relaxed people who don't expect you to wear more than a pair of shorts and a tee. Flip flops and sandals welcome everywhere.
You'll practically live in your swimsuit and bike everywhere!

There is a $1000 deposit with signed lease. Remaining funds are due 90 days prior to rental term unless cancelled. Checks only. No credit cards accepted. NOTE: Seagrape Cottage's calendar does NOT reflect various month's availability. Contact owner for specific dates needed. Some months are filled but there are sometimes cancellations so we could possibly assist with the date you'd like.
