Vacation Rental Description
This luxurious 3rd floor condo is in "B" building which is just 100 yards from the beach and only 50 yards from the pool, clubhouse and hot tub. It is a non-smoking, two bedroom, two bath unit complete with all modern appliances and conveniences. The guests have great views of the Gulf of Mexico as well as the beautiful lush island landscape including a fresh water pond. The Kitchen is of a a spacious center-isle design complete with a breakfast/snack area. The elegant Dining Room seats 6-8 and the buffet and chairs are color coordinated with the living room furniture. The Living Room has a large cabinet enclosed TV, sleeper sofa, love seat and side chairs and from here one has a great view thru the insulated sliding glass doors. The Master bedroom also has an ocean view thru it's insulated sliding glass doors. In addition the bedroom is equipped with a King sized bed with a hand-made designer bedspread and has a longe chair area with a triple dresser and night stands and a writing desk. The master bath includes a walk-in shower and wall-to-wall vanity/sink area. The Guest bedroom has a garden view thru the sliding glass doors (child protected)and comes equipped with a TV and both a queen and twin bed with matching decor. The guest bath has a tub/shower combination and is adjacent to the laundry area which contains a full sized washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.
The unit also has access to a private outside closet containing beach chairs, umbrellas, toys, surf boards, etc. There are also two bicycles for the free use of guests in the outside bike rack. The screened lanai is equipped with designer outdoor furniture including two lounge chairs and a round table and chairs that seats 4.
Wireless internet capability is available throuout the unit and grounds
Guests are just steps from the greatest shelling beach in the USA. This is definitely the most beautiful condo complex on Sanibel Island.

Activities
The J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge is part of the largest undeveloped mangrove ecosystem in the United States. It is world famous for its spectacular migratory bird populations.
The Shell Museum features more than 30 exhibits of mollusks from Sanibel and around the world. The learning lab features a hands-on play area for children, displays, games, and a tank with indigenous mollusks. A half-hour video, Mollusks in Action, is shown on the hour, and a children's video is shown continuously.
Sanibel Historical Village and Museum contains buildings within a village. Some dating back to 1898, have been fully restored by volunteers and stand as testament to a group of early pioneers who homesteaded Sanibel in 1888. Each building has been restored to its original state. Volunteer docents guide visitors through this mystical place.

All major credit cards are accepted as well as personal checks. 10% of the total rental is required to book with the remainder due 30 days prior to arrival. Cancellations are refunded up until 30 days prior to arrival minus credit card fees. After 30 days the 10% deposit will be charged. In case of a weather emergency all charges will be refunded or prorated for the time used. All prices quoted are per week. Less than 1 week prices are prorated at the weekly rate.

This condo at Pointe Santos was excellent! The view of the beach from the lanai was even better than expected! The condo was very clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the use of the bikes to explore the island. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay on Sanibel Island! Thanks for everything. Hopefully we are able to return someday!

Thank you to the Wells family. We had a wonderful week at your condo. It was verty well appointed and comfortable. We really appreciate how accomodating you were since most of the rentals on the Island are either Fri to Fri or Sat to Sat. Having arrived on Friday allowed for more fun than travel time. Hope to see you next summer.

It was a great pleasure to enjoy the comforts of the Wells condo! In spite of being there during the low Florida temps in January 2010, it was cozy and bright indoors and we could look out on the palm trees, pond, heated swimming pool and the Gulf. The shelling is special along this coast - warm or cool. Games, bikes and beach stuff are provided for guests in the Wells condo. And it's not far from the Ding Darling Nature Preserve - accessible by car, on foot, by kayak or canoe - very interesting any time of year. Although, it's on the 3rd floor, the elevator and stairs are just steps from the door, and the higher view is lovely. Prepare to enjoy! Bev and Jim

We are Gordon and Mary Katherine Wells from Oakwood, GA in the Atlanta far NE suburban area. Gordon is a retired Research and Development Director with a PhD in Food Science from Michigan State University. Mary Katherine (everyone calls her MK)attended the University of Florida and is an active homemaker who manages our two vacation homes and our residence on Lake Lanier.
We are very active in our church here; have 15 grandchildren to keep us busy; love to travel to far away places; enjoy golf, friends, eating out and our mountain home in NC and of course - Sanibel.
We keep our vacation homes updated with the latest furnishings and are particular about their tidiness and cleanliness. Many friends and missionaries stay with us on a regular basis. So we guess hospitality must be one of our gifts.
